Mesh Network

 Z-Wave devices form a mesh network.

Also known as a repeater functionality, this basically means that the controllers and modules can talk to each other and find the module to be controlled even if it's not in direct range of the controller.

HomeSettings™ controllers, switches, receptacles and remotes are 100% compatible with a growing number of Z-wave™ enabled control products. Several factors contribute to make Z-wave a breakthrough innovation, including:
